Webinar interview with Scott Hardiman from Bruce Chiene Insurance Brokers presented by Carolyn Verhoef

Scott Hardiman - Bruce Chiene Insurance Brokers

Having completed a Business Degree, Majoring in Applied Finance Scott started a graduate Program with CGU Insurance in 2010, this allowed him to work in a wide variety of insurance areas, including Underwriting, Claims, Risk Surveying, Portfolio Management, Reinsurance, Account and Relationship Management.

"I have always strived to help people, and focus on their needs, and this has served me well in everything I have done. By putting any person first in any element of your life, you’re bound to succeed, maybe not at first but eventually."

With this broad exposure at age 22, he was promoted to Account Manager/Business Relationship Manager, an age well below that usually seen in such a position. Luckily through the right mentorship, guidance and tenacity, he was able to succeed in the role, achieving awards in CGU such as National Winner Intermediaries Choice Award (2013), National Winner Excellence in Account Management and Building Relationships (2013), Excellence in Service Delivery (NSW/ACT 2014). Following this he made the move to the other side of insurance, from an Insurer to the Broking World – having worked with Bruce Chiene Insurance Brokers (Est 1956) since 2011, it was a natural fit with a company with which he shares the values of putting the client’s interests first and staying personal.
